Jostein Gaarder
Mr. Gaarder, who has won a number of awards for his authorship, is most famous for his philosophical novel Sophie's World (1991). The book was translated into fifty-three languages, and there are over thirty million copies of the book in print.
Mr. Gaarder was a honorary guest at the 16th National Exhibiton-Fair of Publishers in Lviv , organized by the Forum Vydavtsiv (Forum of Publishers). He also gave autograph session in the "Italian Courtyard".
Several of Gaarder's books has been translated into Ukrainian.
